”THE CONCEPT OF SOUND TRACKS IS SO UNEXPECTEDLY INGENIOUS BUT SIMPLE IT MAKES YOU WONDER WHY NO ONE HAD THOUGHT OF IT – UNTIL NOW…”
Sound Tracks is an inner-city music festival with a difference. We not only put on gigs at some of London’s finest venues but get musicians to play on the trains between them too, turning the East London Line from a simple means of transport to a destination into one of the city’s most exciting destinations itself. Not only is it twice as fast to get from one stage to another as it would be traipsing through the mud at Glastonbury, but you can be entertained as you travel by a bewilderingly diverse array of acts.
After a hugely successful event in 2011, the line’s recent expansion down to Peckham and beyond means things are going to be even bigger and better this year – awesome new venues are being arranged and art installations will be popping up en route, taking advantage of some of the city’s most interesting spaces. May 11th is the date of departure, so book your tickets now and keep your eyes peeled to our Facebook and Twitter accounts for further announcements, or get on board via our mailing list.
